With this switcher, you'll be able to turn ON or OFF the MIDI signal with one stomp. Plug in your input MIDI Signal to the MIDI IN jack, then you'll get two switches to turn on or off the MIDI out 1 or MIDI out 2 Individually. 

When LED is ON, it means the MIDI signal is going through, when the LED is off, MIDI signal is "Killed" Think of it as a tuner/mute button, but for your MIDI signals.

Please note that the switches are NOT wired in series, they are individual and separate from each other, each having it's own MIDI IN, and MIDI OUT.
