What if you have a stereo rig but in a session you only get one amp? would you rewire everything again? Now you won't have to, with this box you can route your Left and Right outputs and join them together (SUM) them to a different jack, allowing you to sort of A/B between a stereo rig and a SUM mono rig.

 

LED ON  = L and R SUMMED to the L+R (Sum) Jack. * This jack still mono, it just has the L and R signals summed together.

LED OFF = Normal Stereo, L input goes to L OUT, R input goes to R OUT
